Murder suspect faced earlier terrorizing charge
By The Associated Press

BIDDEFORD, Maine — Court papers show that the 55-year-old Biddeford man charged with murder in the shooting deaths of two brothers was charged this spring with threatening to kill his lawyer and his ex-girlfriend.

Rory Holland appeared Wednesday in York County Superior Court on charges of gunning down 19-year-old Gage Greene and 21-year-old Derek Greene outside his house at 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The Portland Press Herald reported that Holland was charged with terrorizing in April for allegedly threatening to shoot his lawyer and his ex-girlfriend in the head if things didn’t go his way in a civil dispute with his ex-girlfriend.

The terrorizing charge had not been resolved in court.

This man needs help... isn't anyone listening to his history?

Wasnt he trying to get a protection order from these to men? If so may be it was justified? The threats charge wasnt settled so no one here knows. I dont know this man or any involved but it seems like typical BDN reporting when a gun is involved. Why were those two guys at HIS house at 1am? Come to my house at 1am after I was trying to get a protection order against you, I would fear for my familys life as well as my own and protect them as he did. Wait for the whole story to come out in court and dont fall into the BDN left wing reporting.

I feel bad for the family and friends of these two young men its sad their lives ended so soon, but I have been wondering to what were they doing there that made him think he needed to shoot them, it would be nice if BDN would try to find that answer then write a full story not just tidbits to rile everyone up with ..
