‘Survivor’ winner can’t mention show in book
By The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Maine — Bow-tied educator Bob Crowley shot to fame on the reality show “Survivor” but his experience in the West African nation of Gabon isn’t featured in his self-published biography.

Crowley, a retired high school teacher who lives in South Portland, Maine, won the $1 million grand prize for outlasting 17 other castaways on the show. But he tells the Portland Press Herald that producers didn’t let him include a single word about the show in “Making Waves: The Stories of Maine’s Bob Crowley.”

He says he’s barred from writing about “Survivor” for three years. Instead, he says the book tells about his life before “Survivor.”

3 years is a long time, but just long enough to start writing and getting it ready for all to read after his first book. Bob was SPECTACULAR! I can't wait to read his book(s)

I knew he was going to win from day ONE! :+)
